In Malaysia, the physiotherapy is still relatively new and the most common problem is the shortage of outpatient clinics.  With about only 450 physiotherapist in the public sector and another 157 in the private sector, obviously there is a huge shortage of these clinics. PICOMS is planning to open its first center at Jalan Ipoh to serve the health care industry owing to the shortage of specialist in physical therapy and rehabilitations
